ASCE San Francisco Section - Younger Member Forum

One of the goals of the Younger Member Forum within ASCE is to educate young engineers about the benefits of membership in the American Society of Civil Engineers.

If you are not a member of ASCE, the best advice we can give is to visit the Membership Section of the ASCE website and view the information there about joining ASCE.

Check it out - we think it's important.

If you are a member of ASCE, we have a couple of reminders. First, we strongly encourage you to pay dues to your local section. You pay these dues when you renew your annual membership to ASCE. Paying your section dues puts funds in the hands of your local ASCE officers for use in local activities that would not otherwise be funded.

Second, remember that many civil engineering and A/E/C firms will reimburse you for your annual membership in ASCE.

The Younger Member Forum is a group of ASCE members who have a particular focus - similar to an ASCE Technical Group - which happens to be the unique challenges and goals of younger engineers.

You don't actually become a member of YMF - you become a member of ASCE and participate in YMF activities.
