ASCE San Francisco Section - Younger Member Forum

WRYMC 2009-10 - San Diego

On behalf of the San Diego Section Younger Member Forum, we are pleased to invite you to attend the 2010 Western Regional Younger Member Council (WRYMC), which will take place February 26 to February 27, 2010. The meeting will provide young engineers with exposure to professional development, networking, an overview of ASCE, and highlight select civil engineering works in San Diego. The Region 8 and 9 Multi-Region Leadership Conference (of which WRYMC is a part) will be held over two days. WRYMC, the Workshop for Section and Branch Leaders, and Workshop for Student Chapter Leaders will all occur during the same weekend, allowing for interaction between younger members, students, and section/branch leaders. The conference will feature an optional pre-conference brewery tour of one of San Diego’s popular microbreweries (space is limited to 50 attendees, so be sure to sign up early!) on Thursday (2/25) and your choice of three tours on Saturday (2/27). On Saturday we will be offering tours of the Water Conservation Garden, the Padre Dam Recycled Water Facility, and the San Vicente Dam Raise. For more information, visit: wrymc.asce.org
