SEAONC YMF PE REVIEW PANEL

Taking the PE exam? Join the SEAONC YMF for a PE Exam information session. The session will provide information about the exam format, exam location, exam registration process (for the April exam), reference materials, calculator requirements, and available review courses.  There will also be a panel of past test-takers who will share their experiences, offer advice, and answer questions from the audience.  A light dinner will also be served.

SEISMIC REVIEW COURSE

The SF YMF Seismic Review Course will provide a review of the basic principles of seismic design of structures for the California Professional Civil Engineer Examination. The review course will address the 2007 California Building Code and the registration fee includes four full days of instruction, course materials complete with example problems, and additional references. Course participants experience a high (>85%) pass rate as the instructor, Chris Tokas, has over 25 years of experience in the field. The review course will be held on 4 consecutive Saturdays starting on Feb. 25th at the Arup office in San Francisco.

SUPER SKI STRAVAGANZA

NOTE: DUE TO POOR SNOW CONDITIONS THE DATE OF THE SKI TRIP HAS CHANGED!

The YMF Ski Trip is back! Dust off your snow riding equipment because April 20-22 YMF will once again partake in snow-filled adventures.  YMF will rent a cabin near Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, provide dinner Saturday night, breakfast Saturday and Sunday, and beverages for all.  Space is limited so be sure to sign up early (friends welcome).  Directions and other logistics will be distributed to all registered attendees.

Dates: April 20-22, 2012

Cost: $45 ACE Members, $50 non-ASCE Members (includes lodging, food/drinks, and carpool)
